What happens during primary care visits?

During primary care visits to EnVIGOR Health Medical and Behavioral Center, your provider greets you, weighs you, determines your body mass index (BMI), and checks your vital signs. They also review your medical history, including your medications, symptoms, lifestyle habits, and family history of diseases.

They complete a physical exam to evaluate your overall health, including pelvic exams and Pap tests for women, and prostate exams for men. Your provider evaluates your eyes, throat, ears, breathing, heartbeat, reflexes, and much more.

If you’re at risk of a physical or mental health condition, the EnVIGOR Health Medical and Behavioral Center team may suggest a psychiatric evaluation, blood tests, an EKG, urine testing, tissue swabs, imaging procedures, allergy and asthma testing, or other diagnostic tests.
